About Us

Everyone asks "Why is Boulder Street Gallery on Tejon Street?"  Well, in 1980, three gentleman remodeled a Victorian home on Boulder Street, hence the name.  However, before they opened, it burnt to the ground. They moved to 725 North Tejon but never changed the name.  I bought it 20 years later and continued its excellent reputation as a custom-framing business. A couple years after I bought the store, I met Jennie. I swear I did not know that she had been a Certified framer in California for 25 years....I married her and we have built the business for the past eight years into much more than it was.

In April, 2009 we saw the opportunity to buy our own place and have much more room to expand. We purchased 206 North Tejon, the old Novice Gallery.  An opportunity to showcase local artists in all forms of media, including fine art, pottery, dichroic glass, beaded work, silver and gold jewelry.

We also now produce fine art photography, giclees and reproductions with the latest state-of-the-art equipment.

Here is what we are most proud of...we make framing a comfortable and fun experience. We do highest quality work at good pricing, and, our customer service is the best there is.
