Everyone asks, “Why is Boulder Street Gallery on Tejon?” As we know it, in 1980, three friends wanting to open a custom frame shop remodeled a Victorian home on Boulder Street between Nevada and Tejon, hence the name. However, before they opened, it burned to the ground. They then moved to 725 North Tejon, but never changed the name.
Terry bought the gallery 20+ years later, continuing its excellent reputation as a custom-framing business. Three years later he met Jennie, a Certified Picture Framer from California for nearly 30 years. They married and have since built the business into much more than it was.
In February of 2009, we saw the opportunity to buy our own building with a lot more room to expand. We purchased 206 North Tejon, the old Novis Frame & Art. The move allowed us to open an art gallery in a 1200 sq ft space. We showcase local Colorado artists in all forms of media, including original art, photography and pottery, jewelry and woodturning.
The move also allows us to offer scanning and reproduction of artwork and photography, providing quality Giclees using the latest state-of-the-art equipment.
Here is what we are most proud of…we make framing a comfortable and fun experience. We offer the highest quality of work at a fair price, and our customer service is the best there is.
We love turning your treasures, kid art, sports memorabilia, whatever it may be, into something you would be proud to hang on your wall.
We like to say, "We Frame Anything!"
