At Boulder Street Gallery and Framing we offer Giclée printing.

Giclée (pronounced “zhee-clay”) is a neologism coined in 1991 by printmaker Jack Duganne for fine art digital prints made on ink-jet printers.  The name originally applied to fine art prints created on IRIS printers in a process invented in the late 1980s, but has since come to mean any high quality ink-jet print and is often used by artists, galleries, and print shops to denote such prints.

We offer high quality printing using a Canon 12-color printer, capable of printing 60” wide by any length, at up to 2880 dpi.  Our prices are the best in Colorado Springs for this quality.

We are able to scan your originals with a size limitation of 42″ wide, up to 3/8" thickness, by no limit in length.

August 2018: We have a new flatbed scanner, so there is no limitation as to the thickness of your original.

We print images and photos on heavyweight photo paper, canvas (stretched if you like), fine-art paper, watercolor paper and more.  Our system can also create a perfect reproduction of your existing art, photography or digital imagery. See pricing chart on the right.
